Focus on domestic and overseas, linkage of upstream and downstream! 2025 TAPAS Promotion Conference and Ghana- Taizhou Automobile and Motorcycle Parts Industry Economic and Trade Exchanges was successfully held!

On the afternoon of April 2, the 2025 China-Ghana Automobile and Motorcycle Industry (Taizhou) Economic and Trade Exchanges and 2025 Taizhou Int’l Automobile and Motorcycle and Electric Vehicle Exhibition was successfully held in Taizhou Int’l Expo Center! This seminar gathered more than 100 government officers, industry leaders, exhibitors, domestic and overseas merchants and media representatives to talk about the opportunities for cooperation between China and Ghana, draw a blueprint for the automobile and motorcycle parts industry, and link resources from all sides for the upcoming Taizhou Int’l Automobile, Motorcycle Parts and Electric Vehicle Exhibition 2025 to be held in June!

1.The convention economy empowers the manufacturing capital

Chen Linjuan, Vice President of CCOIC Taizhou introduce:

Taizhou International Expo Center offers escort: Taizhou's newly completed International Expo Center integrates exhibition, conference and business, and the 50,000-square-meter pavilion can accommodate more than 600 enterprises competing on the same stage.

“Made in Taizhou” goes to the world: in 2024, the intentional turnover of Taizhou Auto Parts Exhibition reached 580 million yuan, and in 2025, the exhibition will continue to cooperate with China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products to build an international, professional and branded industry event.

2.Taizhou products earns reputation from the world 

Luo Lianmeng, executive director of the Zhejiang Province Chamber of Commerce of Automobile and Motorcycle Parts Industry, said: 

Hardcore Strength of “Auto Parts Capital of China”: Taizhou has thousands of automobile and motorcycle parts enterprises, a complete industrial chain, leading the world in characteristic industrial clusters, and fruitful achievements in cutting-edge technologies such as new energy vehicles and intelligent cockpits.

Taizhou automobile and motorcycle parts enterprises take “specialization, precision, special and newness” as the lead, and continue to make breakthroughs in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and new materials, etc. This exhibition will provide an integrated platform for the global industry to share technologies and expand markets.

3.Unlocking the Potential of the Ghanaian Market

Ruby Tette, Minister of Trade and Investment at the Embassy of Ghana in China, said in her speech:

Chinese brands lead the way strongly: in 2024, 70% of motorcycles imported into Ghana will come from China, and more than 55% of automotive parts imports will be supplied by China.

Policies to help industrial upgrading: the automotive development policy was launched in August 2019, providing a framework for the development of a fully integrated automotive industry in West Africa, and is expected to deepen technological cooperation with Chinese companies in the future to explore the West African market.

 Investment opportunities in both directions: Ghana will organize a delegation of 20 enterprises to participate in the Taizhou Exhibition in June, expecting Chinese enterprises to invest in Ghana's manufacturing and help “Ghana-made” cars enter the Chinese market.

4.Highlights of Taizhou auto parts  Fair

Lin Zhouwu, General Manager of Taizhou Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd., introduced in detail the characteristic highlights of the 2025 Taizhou International Auto and Motorcycle Parts and Electric Vehicle Exhibition:

Scale and content upgrading: on the basis of the original automobile parts and components, motorcycle, electric vehicle and parts exhibition will be held at the same time, covering the whole industrial chain, and more than 600 enterprises are expected to participate;

 Origin Radiation Advantage: Based on Taizhou, linking with the key towns of automobile and motorcycle parts industry, such as Wenzhou and Ningbo. Radiation of production area: based on Taizhou, linking Wenzhou, Ningbo and other major towns in the automobile and motorcycle parts industry, radiating to the national market, creating an integrated industry chain event for domestic and foreign trade.

  Boosting the industry to the sea: the organizing committee actively docking multinational embassies and consulates in China and industry institutions, in-depth docking of foreign buyers, so far has attracted more than 30 countries and regions professional buyers signed up to come to Taizhou to observe the exhibition and procurement.

  Precise Matchmaking between Supply and Demand: The organizing committee cooperates with industry associations and institutions in Hebei, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Wuxi, Suzhou, Liaocheng and other places, and will hold a series of activities such as matchmaking meetings between supply and demand and enterprise visits during the exhibition to provide an efficient platform for both supply and demand.

5.Strategic signing to promote the development of the industry

At the promotion meeting, Mr. Li Junjie, Assistant General Manager of Taizhou Donner Exhibition Co., Ltd. signed the exhibition agreement with five enterprises, namely, Shanghai Lirui Spring Co.

Taizhou Kewen Electronic Technology Co. Taizhou Hongke New Energy Technology. Taizhou Huangyan Xierya Mold Co. Zhejiang Wudebaoer New Material Co. Based on the advantages of Taizhou industrial agglomeration and the concept of running the exhibition with high efficiency, Taizhou International Automobile and Motorcycle Parts Exhibition has gained the recognition and support of the industry enterprises, and the organizing committee will join hands with the majority of exhibitors to comprehensively promote the exhibition to the internationalization, specialization and branding.

6.Gathering of Forces for the Exhibition Launching Ceremony

Under the common witness of all the guests, the launching ceremony of 2025 Taizhou International Automobile, Motorcycle and Electric Vehicle Exhibition pushed the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. Taizhou government leaders, representatives of industry associations and Chinese and foreign business leaders took the stage together to unveil the exhibition with the “energy start” full of sense of science and technology.
